Happy Hardcore was a very popular music movement in the 90s of the last century. It is a joyous variance of hardcore house. Typical of happy hardcore songs are the cheerful (female) vocals, sweet lyrics and a high beat between 165 and 180 per minute. Often ‘samples’ are used from other songs that have been accelerated.
