Captain Jack is a Eurodance group that scored many big hits in the second half of the 90s of the 20th century.
The group is known for the energetic, military sounding hits Captain Jack, Drill instructor and Soldier Soldier. The first two hits achieved the number 1 position in the Netherlands shortly after each other. The hits were based in part on soldier songs, which is shown in Captain Jack for example by the pre- and after-vocals and from the occasional scandalous lyrics.
